What is the Biggest Event of the Week?

There has been very little mention of the biggest event of the week. The coverage of the election by the mindless media has mostly missed it. Wednesday the Federal Reserve announced it would begin immediately to monetize $600 BILLION of America's debt and leave the door open to do up to $400 BILLION more. As far as we know, and we may not know, this translates into somewhere between $1.5 and $2.5 TRILLION of new money that has been printed and pumped into the system since January of 2008! Add to that the fact that the economy is producing less jobs that the number required to keep up with population growth and the picture gets even more bleak. And, the people I talk to are mostly independent businesses and every one of them is underemployed or doing absolutely nothing. And, we hear nothing about the fact that the Real Estate market, in all sectors, has been collapsing for 4 years and the worst of the commercial crash is yet to come. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are going to have to be bailed out or collapse. Mortgage interest rates are the lowest in recorded history and the inventory of unsold and foreclosure properties is growing because qualified buyers don't exist. The agricultural sector is also in crisis. With near record high crop and livestock prices and record low interest rates, there are no profits. Why? Because inputs have been steadily going up for years. And that is with no inflation! Do you really believe the government reports? Wake up people! Go back and compare your grocery bills for the past 2 years. Now with the printing of all this money, that is worthless, inflation is about to go through the roof. No mention of that! Bernanke continues to say interest rates will stay low. And all this does not factor in any of the costs of Socialized Medicine that will come into play over the next 4 years. We may be on the brink of a bonafide collapse. And, no one is paying any attention! Unbelievable!

The Will of The New Congress

The question is, can the new congress find the will to do what has been mandated by WE THE PEOPLE? The only way for this to happen is if WE THE PEOPLE drive it to happen. Look closely at those remaining in both houses. Both sides are loaded with career entrenched politicians. As I wrote in my book, The Stimulus Tragedy, published April 1, 2009, "We cannot survive with America as it is and allow these relics to remain in office and continue to operate." Let's ask this question, "How many members of congress have been there since 1994?" What has the budget deficit done since then and what have those members done through 3 presidents and long periods of both parties in control? It has grown steadily worse. Millions of jobs have been shipped overseas and hundreds of thousands of jobs added to the federal government and the size of the bureaucracy has exploded. It is going to take at least 2 more elections to clean this mess up. And then it can only happen if WE THE PEOPLE keep the pressure on. Many Americans have not yet seen the light. John McCain, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Daniel Inouye and many more career entrenched politicians, were reelected. Lindsey Graham, Max Baucus and dozens more are still there. Until it changes, it can't change. End of story.

Will America Survive?

It is a question many Americans are asking. Will America Survive? Obviously, our great country is in free fall. The question is, how will America land? Will we land on our feet or on our back?

I recently read this paragraph -

"We have at the present time few really great figures in the political life of our country; our politicians are a petty lot. There is no Lincoln, no Webster, no Clay, Calhoun, or Jackson. Why? Because our present statesmen deal only with sordid and petty issues - questions of dollars and cents, of expediency and party success, of material prosperity without regard to the ethical right. Thinking along these lines does not call forth great souls. The statesmen of Lincoln's time and previous times dealt with questions of eternal truth, of human rights and justice. Men thought upon great themes; they thought great thoughts, and they became great men."

This quote is from a classic book "The Science of Being Great" by Wallace D. Wattles and was published in 1911.

I wonder what Mr. Wattles would think of this bunch we are burdened with now?

The hope for America landing on it's feet will come with the mid term elections this fall. If America has become awakened enough to vote out these career, entrenched politicians and replace them with statesmen, the country will land on it's feet. It is supremely important for every American eligible to vote to do his or her research, study the voting records of each candidate and then vote the record. If the candidate is a new face, then it is imperative that questions be answered before sending these people to represent WE THE PEOPLE. If these criteria are met, then support them at the polls and hold their nose to the blade for the term of service.

Some of these questions must be: Will you support and vote for repeal of Socialized Medicine? Will you vote to return to the general fund all stimulus funds not spent? Will you vote to freeze all government hiring until the budget is balanced? Will you vote to cut 10% annually from the budgets of all government agencies not involved in national security? Will you vote to rescind any bill or government agency that has outlived it's usefulness? Will you vote to take the necessary steps to secure the borders, effective immediately? Will you vote to return to the states all powers not granted the federal government by the constitution? Will you commit to a self imposed term limit and support term limits for all members of congress? Will you support and vote for the line item veto? Will you vote to continue the Bush tax cuts? Will you vote to remove all forms of inheritance tax? Will you vote to set aside all funds collected by workers and employers for Social Security and use them only for their designated purpose? Will you commit to no earmarks? Will you vote to expand, wherever possible, the responsible development of America's natural resources including timber, oil and mining? Will you work for and vote for legislation that will begin to resolve the pending water crisis in the country?

America must discipline itself to adopt these measures if we are to survive. You may say these are too much and cannot be done. It is not a matter of whether or not they can be done - if America is to survive they must be done. If the candidates you send to Washington do not have the heart or stomach for these measures, they will sink you and you can then get ready to live like Cubans. That's where you are headed!

This is what has to happen for America to survive the current level of incompetence in our federal government. It is serious business and every American had better wake up and take notice!

Socializing of America To Begin

This is the big week for socialism in America. Even with a large majority of WE THE PEOPLE opposing the socialized medicine bill, the career, entrenched politicians are going to pass this monstrosity sometime this weekend. In my book "The Stimulus Tragedy" I wrote that should this bill pass it will never be removed. Entitlement programs are impossible to get rid of once they are enacted. That is why I believe the socialized medicine bill is the most insidious legislation in world history. Cap and Trade will deeply wound America, but socialized medicine will destroy it. Cap and Trade can be amended, revised or rescinded. Socialized medicine will be here to stay. The only hope for America is that so much pressure has been put on the Democrats in the House that the votes to defeat this bill are in hiding until the actual vote takes place and that there are some Democrats that will, at the critical time, vote NO on this legislation. That should be the prayer and the hope of WE THE PEOPLE, especially the young, who will have to pay for it and live with it.

Health Care Will Pass, Too Bad For You

December 15, 2009 I wrote two posts regarding the passage of the Socialized Medicine Bill (health care). Unfortunately, these fears are coming to pass. As written in The Stimulus Tragedy, this is all quite predictable and will continue as long as WE THE PEOPLE allow these career, entrenched politicians to remain in office. The Democrat controlled congress will pass a health care bill before November and will try to do it sooner, rather than later in hope that you, the voter, will forget about it before election day in November. What is even more disheartening is there are Republicans who will now vote for passage on the premise this bill is not "as bad" as the original. Unless WE THE PEOPLE hold these bought off, career, entrenched politicians feet to the fire, they will continue to buckle because they have no principles. Go back to The Stimulus Tragedy and reread about the importance of principles. Look at the increasing number of Republicans who voted for the new stimulus (jobs) bill today! These unprincipled, career, entrenched politicians are weakening, and fast. Sadly, many of these will vote ideology over the will of WE THE PEOPLE even if it costs them their jobs. Remember, these people believe they are much smarter than you. The President has called WE THE PEOPLE "the masses". Certainly a politician is smarter than "the masses". Right?

Who Voted for the Jobs Bill?

Last week the so called "conservatives" were ready to elect Scott Brown as President. Today he votes for the new stimulus (jobs) bill. WE THE PEOPLE must pay attention and be diligent. This outcome was inevitable! Scott Brown is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Nothing like a constitutional conservative is going to come out of Massachusetts. Anyone with any common sense knows that. It proves the need for diligence and in order to know what these people are we must look at how they vote and where they come from - where are their roots? This situation is no different than electing the most liberal Senator to the Presidency - we get a liberal President. For America to survive, this idiocy must stop. Intelligent people must begin to make intelligent decisions. WE THE PEOPLE must wake up!

Anniversary Date!

Today the Stimulus Bill is one year old! That means it was one year ago today that I was so incensed that the book The Stimulus Tragedy was born. Sadly, many of the obvious results of this legislation, as written in The Stimulus Tragedy, have been proven to be right on the mark. It only gets worse from here. Over the next 8 months, hundreds of millions of dollars will be poured into political districts needing help to elect Democrats in the midterms and to advertise, fund and manipulate the census. This money will come from the stimulus money not yet spent. It will be loaded with corruption and political favors as necessary to reelect these career, entrenched politicians. We thought 2009 was an interesting year - I predict 2010 will be the most politically corrupt year in American history!

Make No Mistake, Not A GOP Victory, but rather

Make no mistake, the election win in Massachusetts is not a GOP victory, but a Democratic Party loss!

WE THE PEOPLE are waking up and realizing the problem with America lies with career, entrenched politicians. That is the main point of my book, The Stimulus Tragedy. And, at this point in time the insanity of a runaway government sits squarely upon the party in majority control, the Democrats. As I said in the book, anytime power is concentrated in one party the result is not going to be good. The American Republic operates best and efficiently only when there is a relative balance of power. The problem today is that even with a balance of power, the Congress is made up of career, entrenched politicians and not public servants. WE THE PEOPLE must remove the career, entrenched politicians and replace them with public servants and at least every 12 years replace them all.

What Happens Post Health Care Bill Passage?

Once the Senate health care bill passes, the Democrats will scramble to "fix" all the ideological issues that are not met in the bill. The abortion provision will reappear. The Medicare cuts will reappear. And, along with those two items, there will be all sorts of tax increases begin to show up and it will become clear how the private insurance companies will be emasculated. This will be done in the same manner as we have seen, or not seen, up to this point. These changes will be made and implemented behind closed doors, with only Democrats in attendance, and as many of these changes as possible will be made as regulations and not under law. The legislative process, as directed by the Constitution, will be circumvented and these things pushed upon WE THE PEOPLE with no input. At the same time, every effort will be made to post date these changes until after the mid term elections in an effort to "hide" all this from WE THE PEOPLE in the hope of electing as many Democrats as possible in the mid terms. Beginning in January of 2010, there will be billions of dollars from the remaining stimulus funds poured into any districts needing help to elect and reelect Democrats. I hope and pray WE THE PEOPLE will do our own thinking and see all this for what it is. It will be difficult to sort out with the media not reporting most of it.

The Health Care Bill Will Pass!

The health care bill will pass. Even though it was written by special interests, no one knows what is in it and it is written in a way that allows it to be changed at will by career, entrenched politicians. It doesn't matter what is in it. It will be changed to be whatever the politicians want it to be and it will eventually include all the things the Democrat controlled congress desires to put in it. That is why it is so important to do all we can to stop it. All the arguments taking place over the past week or so are nothing more than political rhetoric. The fact is, this is a done deal! I have been faxing my Senators with a plea to scrap this bill and incrementally go to work to change any perceived problems in the health care system, through the proper legislative channels, as written in The Constitution. I have no hope this will take place. The replies I have received tell me it matters not what I think or what WE THE PEOPLE think. What is happening is a subversion of the Constitutional process at the expense of WE THE PEOPLE.

Do the Polls Lie?

Why is it that all the polls are showing more than 50% of WE THE PEOPLE are AGAINST the proposed health care reform, believe the President is failing, Cap and Trade is bad for the economy, Card Check is bad for the economy and Global Warming is unproven science and still these programs are moving forward? It proves the point that our government believes it knows better than WE THE PEOPLE on all of these issues. Add to that the recent polls showing Congress is less to be trusted than anyone. It proves these proposed programs are not, in any way, about WE THE PEOPLE but about ideology, personal agendas and political power, designed to further the power of career, entrenched politicians and special interests with deep pockets and the means to own politicians.

The Insanity of Government

Any person capable of comprehensive thought must be appalled at what is happening in our government. All things considered, what is most disturbing is the fact that congress believes the voice of the people is meaningless. More importantly, as I wrote in The Stimulus Tragedy, is these career, entrenched politicians believe the people are unqualified to have any say in government. They believe, and prove it in their words, programs and votes, that if it were not for them, "the masses", as the President says it, could not function. I also said in The Stimulus Tragedy that "there are millions of Americans more aptly qualified and competent to serve as President than the current President", and this becomes more evident every day. There are so many things happening in our government it is impossible to keep up with it. That is what these career, entrenched politicians want. Since "the masses" are incapable of making the decisions necessary to operate the government, they must make these decisions for us. The only solution to this insanity is to remove any Representative having served more than 4 terms and Senator serving more than 2 terms. And thereby breaking up this mentality that WE THE PEOPLE are incapable of comprehensive thought. And, this must begin to happen in the mid term elections of 2010. I personally believe it won't much matter if these newly elected are Democrat or Republican. The fact that these newly elected are in their first term, WE THE PEOPLE will have some control over them, at least in their first term. then evaluate the newly elected and replace them as soon as they get "bought off" by special interests and knuckle under to the pressure of the party system of which they are a part. It happens in both parties. In The Stimulus Tragedy it was written that our government works best when the makeup of Congress is close to evenly divided between the left and right views. This is the best way to keep either side from running away with government with blind ideology and personal agendas separate from the the will of WE THE PEOPLE.

I've Been Slackin'

It has been some fall. Too much going on in the political world to be gone that long, but it has been very busy the past while. I will get back to work on recent issues now. Don't know where to start. I pray this Senate bill is defeated. As I mentioned in an earlier post and in my book The Stimulus Tragedy, it is very difficult to ever reverse social legislation. Should this bill pass it is going to be impossible to control it. I just came from one of my offices and sending faxes to my Senators. Begged them to turn their hearing aids on and hear WE THE PEOPLE.

Times Continnue to be Interesting

The times we are living in are exciting - and very frightening. Federal Government is totally out of control! The question is, what are YOU going to do about it? Opportunity is knocking and if America wakes up all this insanity can be reversed. Personally, I believe it is already happening. So, that leaves the question, how bad will it get before this change is evidenced in DC? It appears to be happening now. What WE THE PEOPLE must do is keep the heat on our congressional delegation. Should these clowns get back to work and the pressure stop, they will revert instantly back into their old ways. KEEP THE HEAT ON AMERICA, especially you seniors!

Greatest Day of 2009 for America!

This is the greatest day of 2009 for America! I salute Bill Clinton!

Whatever political gyrations or hocus pocus may have gone on in North Korea, this is the only positive thing that has happened for America this year. Two Americans are alive, well and safely home.

Repeal 22nd Amendment?

NY Representative Jose Serrano has introduced H.J. Resolution 5 that would repeal the 22nd Amendment restricting Presidents to only two terms. This ridiculous proposal shows, once again, what is happening in America with regard to these career, entrenched politicians and their lack of touch with WE THE PEOPLE. Serrano is but another of the entrenched that must be removed from office. I would propose this as an alternative. How about the repeal of the 17 Amendment instead? Repeal of 17 would break up the power of the lobbyist forever, giving control of the Senate back to the States, where it was intended by the Founders to be. This alone, would solve many of the problems in the federal government. I would propose the States convene and, as a unified body, declare the sovereignty of the States as granted by the Constitution and at the same time retake control of the federal government by repealing the 17th Amendment. Texas, Utah and Montana have already taken the first steps in this direction. Wake up America and follow through.

The Stimulus Tragedy has been published 90 days!

When The Stimulus Tragedy was published, April 1, it was intended to be a wake up call for America. Even this author is surprised how accurate the message has proven to be. The situation in America is much more critical than I expected. This is mostly due to the House passage of Cap and Trade and the election of Al Franken. Cap and Trade was not addressed in The Stimulus Tragedy. At the time of the wriring there was not enough known of the proposal to do much with it. What is most disturbing with Cap and Trade is how the House pushed it through with no one having the opportunity to read it or debate it. It is the sitmulus bill in rerun. The subversion of the due process of the Constitution is what makes all this so frightening. The career, entrenched politicians are on a run away! The only thing they are concerned with is increasing THEIR POWER. It has nothing to do with what is best for America or WE THE PEOPLE. As I talked about so much in The Stimulus Tragedy, as long as these career, entrenched, professional politicians remain in office, nothing can change. Now is the time for WE THE PEOPLE to stand tall and take individual responsibilty for the future of America. FAX your Senators with your views on Cap and Trade and do it every day. The entrenched pay no attention to emails, do not read our letters and jam up the phone lines so we can't get through. The only thing they see that makes any difference is the pile of paper generated by the FAX. WE THE PEOPLE are individually responsible for the future of America!

Read My Lips, NO NEW TAXES!

The promise of no new taxes for 95% of Americans has gone out the window! The proposed Cap and Trade Bill has passed the House and is headed for the Senate. It is a tax increase of massive proportions - the largest in the history of America! With it goes the promise that elected the President! It proves, one more time, that the promise of no new taxes was a lie! This legislation has been in the works since the 1990's. The proposal has already made Al Gore a very rich man. It is now poised to make hundreds of millions of dollars for a select group of individuals and large corporations, at the expense of WE THE PEOPLE. With Al Franken now in the Senate, the defeat of this bill becomes more unlikely. Many in the Senate have stated that this bill will not pass the Senate. I believe it will. The career, entrenched politicians will push this through, over and above the objections of WE THE PEOPLE. THIS IS ABOUT POWER AND NOTHING ELSE! Sadly, the little guy, the 95% of the people government claims to be "looking out for", those the entrenched call "the masses", are the losers, as they always are. Cap and Trade will be paid for by families, low income earners, retirees, the worker and small business. All is not yet lost! FAX your Senators! Do it now, do it daily and keep it up until Cap and Trade is voted on in the Senate. Wake up America! It is up to us and we are individually, ultimately responsible for the outcome.

What Will Cap and Trade Be?

My guess is that Cap and Trade will be enacted. This may sound like a negative, but it may not be. America needs to wake up. This may be the wake up call. If it does pass, the best thing that can happen is for it to be implemented immediately so the affects will be immediate. This legislation can likely be changed over time if it turns out to be as costly as expected. If, in fact, this legislation does cost every household in America $2700 annually, it may mean the demise of many of those voting for it. If this bill passes and America wakes up, many of these career, entrenched politicians may be voted out of office and that may save America. It will be better to have a Cap and Trade bill passed that needs to be changed then a social program like Socialized Medicine.
